Golf? Reassess your life. And take up something that doesn't involve a club she can beat you with.

Too tired today to make it to the range. I'll hit the range tomorrow.

I can choose between playing and practice. I choose playing.

Pass the gravy.

I'm trying a different grip technique...inter locking fingers (left index and right pinky.

Was your previous grip baseball style?

I like interlock better than overlap. Some say you hot it a little farther with overlap, but it just feels weird to me.

So did interlock when I switched about 9 months after starting golf. I used a baseball grip because baseball was my only sport I was even any good at and it felt comfortable.

But it wasn't consistent. Once I forced myself to use the interlock instead of a baseball grip, it took about three rounds before interlock felt natural and baseball grip felt weird. I am sure it's similar going from interlock to overlap.

Oh boy did the wife have a set back yesterday. She average a 105 in her last three rounds, but yesterday she shot a 127..... she just couldn't stay out of trouble. I had to explain to her that some days you just don't have it. Two times in a row on par 3s she hit the green and then proceeded to three putt.... just one of those days.

Being able to lag it up there and drain the 3-4 footers would knock several strokes off of my game

I used to play golf with a fellow I worked with. He didn’t hit it very far, but stayed out of trouble mostly. Where he was good was in sand traps and on the green. He spent hours putting and hitting out of the sand, and it really took shots off his game. He was so good out of the traps. Best I’ve ever played golf with. He was truly dedicated to getting good.

We are getting a golf simulator with a 14ft x 16ft putting surface. This should help our short game a bunch. Work gets in the way of practice most days.

Played in the BIG wind yesterday on a whim.

Very interesting to say the least.

Shot 97 with five pars and only 29 putts.

Yes, you read that correctly.

Pass the gravy.
