Building a new deer blind and spending money to make it really nice. Real Windows, door, sealing as much as possible to keep scent down. Here’s the question. How many vents should I use to keep moisture at bay and prevent molding? Also, are there any vents I could use that you can close off while you’re in the blind?

I've built several, I also make them "nice", only to keep me out of the wind so I can stay on stand longer and have a stable shooting platform. I never use vents. I also don't use carpet that only traps moisture from my wet or muddy boots. I consider the dominate wind and feeder location and ideally place stand 200 yards from feeder. My current location is only 140 yards from feeder, but elevated about 50' on a hill.
An unethical shot is one you take, that you know you shouldn't.

As for human scent I've seen some with a 4" pipe sticking about 10' above the blind to get your scent off the forest floor. Don't know if it works or not but might be something for your new setup.

I've never hunted in a blind with a vent, and I really don't see any reason to have one, especially if it's built well.

Go to a trailer company that sells stock trailers they will have roof vent that you can open from underneath when done hunting just close it it done manual so no power needed hope this helps
