The agility and speed of the large hog seems to exceed the dog at times

Interesting.
Even large hogs can move at a pretty high rate of speed when they're motivated (like, being shot at).

I have two unwritten rules:
1.
2.

As I watched the video, all I could think about was handgun hunting. It made my trigger finger itch.

Which is the pet, dog or hog? Are people stupid?

Dog looked like he was playing. I expect those hogs are somewhat tame. Wild hogs would have moved on, unless they are just undisturbed. Neat vid though.

No matter how high a duck flies a hammer still breaks a window.

Yeah, the people, including the camera person, don't seemed bothered by being in close proximity to notoriously dangerous wild hogs that would appear to be fighting with their shepherd, except, they all seem to be playing. The people never get attacked. The dog and hogs make contact numerous times, but there are no cries or yelps of pain. They don't appear to be trying to hurt each other. The humans never seem terribly concerned the dog will get hurt or that the people could get hurt, so I would say you are spot on in suggesting the hogs are somewhat tamed, maybe very tamed.

Here is a shepherd and a tamed wild boar, playing. I don't see a lot of difference. No growling or barking, grunting or squealing...

Reminds me of the hogs we would encounter in Germany. They would always follow us in the training areas, especially Grafenwoehr and Hohenfels, looking for our food scraps. My troops used to leave leftover Ham Slice T-Rats for the hogs in our AA, and they would always come through about 0200 and clean the trays out. Cannibals. roflmao

The coyotes would do the same at the National Training Center (NTC) in California.

Neat video

I watched the video several times and I can't see any cutters on any of them.
