We had a late cancellation for our Spring Axis/Turkey hunt on April 21 - 24, 2023. This has opened up two (2) hunting packages. A hunt package can be used by a single hunter or split with a family member or buddy. Each hunting package would include all meals and lodging, as well as a chance to harvest the following: 2 axis buck (any size) 4 axis doe 2 turkey Unlimited hogs or other varmint Price is $4,800 for a Single hunter, $5,200 for a Family Package and $5,600 for a Buddy Package. Hunters in the Family and Buddy packages will each get a blind and can split the game up however they want. Processing services are not included but are available on site. PM for questions or additional details. Can you explain why the Buddy Package is more expensive than the Family Package?

Sure. The package price includes lodging and meals. Logistically, we have found it to be less costly and more efficient to accommodate family members rather than buddies or two people that may not know each other that well. This is why our Family Package is cheaper than the Buddy Package.

How big is the ranch out of curiosity.
Time is not wasted if you spend it with the ones you love.

The ranch is over 3,400 acres and includes both high and low fences. We will mainly be hunting the low fence pastures for this hunt, which total over 2,200 acres.

We have nearly 30 blinds to hunt from. Each blind will overlook a feeder or water trough, or both.

So if my wife and I decide to hunt, it would be $5,200, plus whatever fees you might charge us for skinning, quartering, etc. Would we be hunting on April 21 and hunting all day on April 24? How many hunters on the ranch at the same time as you have 30 blinds.

It would be $5,200 for you and your wife. We have a local processor come in to do the gutting. If you like, he can then take your game to town to skin, debone and vacuum seal the meat and have it ready for you to pick up on your way out of town. He charges his own fees for this and you are not required to do this. We have an area set up where you can gut, skin, quarter, etc. your own game if you prefer. We also have a walk-in cooler and ice machine available for hunters to use.
The hunt is four (4) days of hunting beginning the morning of the 21st and ending the evening of the 24th. Hunters are welcome to come in the day before (20th) and leave the morning after (25th) so travel will not interfere with hunting. We will have a max of 20 hunters. Each night, blinds will be drawn for where hunters will hunt the morning and evening the following day. This is done every evening. Guides will take the hunters out and pick them up for each morning and evening hunt.
Let me know if you have any questions or need more info.
