I was going to start a bolt gun build but this pistol was posted and I couldn't resist. I don't really shoot matches and did want to try, may give it a shot now that I have a pistol to do so.

All you gotta do is reach "critical mass," meaning you have enough stuff in the safe that she won't be able to be sure whether or not she's ever seen anything at all in there. When you reach that point, all you gotta do is manage to get it from the front (or back...or side...or whatever) door and into the safe undetected. You are then home free. That's been working for me for years.

A friends wife just kept up with the number of guns in the safe, not what they were. Several times I borrowed one gun but returned another one that he had bought.

My wife stays out of it.
