Amazing animals however what's more astounding to me is the lack of reaction to the cost!!!!!!!!!!!! I am certainly overwhelming out classed on this site if no one is rattled by a $50,000 whim buy, I spent 2 hours this morning trying to see if I could avoid paying a $300.00 increase in my car insurance.

In most all instances, you have to pay to play.

They are only on the mountains so we had to go to another ranch the last day to find them and you are going to be climbing, glassing and looking for them. Also be prepared to shoot 400-500 yards off a rock of shooting sticks. Ram is a dream of mine too but I can’t justify to myself that kind of price tag. He was happy and got a dream animal for himself. It was a great trip

another $52500? or $5250? asking for a friend...;)

I think last year's Texas auction tag went for over 6 figures, maybe $120K.

The Antelope Island mule deer tag this year sold for $750,000. Sounds like the OP and his buddy got a deal bolt

Aren't we fortunate to share it - the photos, the experience, the knowledge and/or whatever else these High Rollers provide that we would not otherwise see?

I dont know a lot about rams but I figure if you have the money and want one that size then thats a real good price.
I do know a little about Mule Deer and there are a lot of guys that would pay that and more to hunt one that size.

I hope no one thinks I am being critical at the $52.500 payout as I am a capitalist and a supporter of success !!!! I am awed!!! However and It does put my financial state in prospective compared to my fellow members here!!!!!

Very good point Hud. I view it as akin to so many watching Pro sports or watching a movie with a heroic character in it. Most folks like to get a peak inside what they want but cant have. Nothing wrong with that.
