Hello

I am trying to find a specific AR 15. I have seen one years ago at a pawn shop, but not since. It is very small and minimalistic. It is not a SBR or pistol. It has a 16" barrel, no carry handle, but it is very compact and bare. No accessories or anything like that. It is similar to the picture below (without the accessories).

That looks to me like a standard M4 carbine. Should be able to find one from a number of manufacturers.

Just one example:

Ruger’s standard AR-556 is about as minimalistic as they come. As mentioned above others make them as well. I suspect PSA has a few.

Need more details

16" barrel and basic is around every corner

Sounds like an ATF'ish question trying to set someone up to me

Colt 6920 is what you're likely looking for. But all MFRs have a standard/basic AR 15. Should be easy to find one in your budget. In general, you get what you pay for, though.

It looks to be a Colt or FN SOCOM. Though I can't see the muzzle, most are 14.5" barrel and not 16". The standard bird cage flash hider can be pinned and welded to make up the 1.5" to keep it legal without an SBR.
Very common upper made by several manufactures in all price ranges. I have a BCM that looks just like it. Great shooting gun.

I guess when a person gets busy and cannot logon every day, they get labeled by others who have nothing better to do all day. There are those on here who DO know me and have done deals with me.

On another forum, they call them "Glowies".

They stand out (glow) in a crowd or online.

The compact look comes from carbine length gas systems and handguards. Get carbine length gas, not mid. The barrel should be 14.5" with a muzzle device pinned and welded on to extend the barrel to legal length.
