My wife is great at spotting good deals and does a lot to save us money. In all her wisdom, she only bought one when there was a whole stack of them.
She told me about this purchase days later so they would all be gone by now.

Was there actually 18 beers in the box? And which brand do you prefer to drink?

I prefer Miller Lite over Bud Light, I drink either one, really not picky.

We used to have a guy around the corner in our last neighborhood that worked for a beer distributor in Houston. He’d get all the scratch and dent cans for next to nothing. He’d deliver them to the doorstep for $8-10 per 24 pack of 16oz beers. Usually a lot of Coors light. I was never big for Coors, but for that price, we drank it for a while!

Now I know why they were on sale , all 18 decided to transgender into Miller Lite!

I knows a guy who owns a little grocery store type of deal. Ain't selling no BL these days. In fact, they sold a single twelve pack and an eighteen pack the prior week when they usually sell dozens of each. Distributor called wanting to know why they weren't placing any orders at all of their locations. They were told their product was not selling. the distributor replied along the lines of you know we didn't create this issue. The response from their customer was - your product simply is not selling.

Went into the Hoity Toit last Friday and the only BL's being purchased were gags which were being refused.

Not surprised that a bunch of Bud Light's undergoing a gender transformation...

I bet there's LOTS of blowback from the distributors going on. Those guys are used to being kept in the lifestyle to which they're accustomed. 'Like takin' candy from a baby.

Went to MacAdoos the other night. For whatever I reason, I usually order a Stella there. Not this time.

Side note - I quite like MacAdoos! A customer around the area turned me onto them, always had a pleasant experience there

Maybe. Some people don't care bout it, a lot of people will forget about it in a few weeks, and most perople will forget about it in a few months. They will probably lose some market share to the more conservative population, but will gain market share to the more liberal population. Will it be a net gain or a net loss? Only time will tell. I'll bet they don't come out of this any worse for wear.

The discussion reminds me of the time a BBQ place in Crockett once offered free beer. No joke, free beer. It seemed the Texas Alcohol Commission somehow messed up their liquor license so to fight back, they gave away beer for at least the day that I and a friend stopped by for lunch. They had a barrel in front of the place full with iced down beer with a sign attached that said something along the lines of the state's and our loss is your gain.
