I need to cut some plexiglass. Has anyone done it? Can you tell me the best way to do it? Thank you very much.
I once drank muddy water out of a hoof print and was dang glad to get it.

use a skill saw with a fine tooth blade, and set the depth about 1/8" more than the thickness of the plexiglass, then put a 2x4 about 2" away from the line you need to cut, and start cutting

You can use a razor knife and a straight edge. Just keep running the razor knife back and forth and it will cut it perfectly.

I made plexiglass windows for a blind and I used a drimmel tool with a cut off wheel. It takes time but I had no breakage or scratches. The stuff I was cutting was .080 thickness.

Go to lowes or hd and get a little plexiglass cutter. 'Bout $2. Use it and a straight edge to score the glass real well and then break it. Hit the edge with a little 150 grit sand paper and you're good to go.

If you use a saw tape your line with masking tape. It will keep it from chipping.

thank you for all the great ideas. i ended up using a a zip tool (think thats what its called) its like a dremel tool on steriods. put a diamond wheel on it and cut through it like butter and did not chip at all. thank you again.
