This is my first time adapting a carbon fiber stock to my needs. I just opened up the right ejection port for a left bolt right eject action. I’m also going to do some work on the barrel channel. Do I need to seal this with anything specific?

Paint on that stock...probably a flat black after taping everything off.
Use the same colored gel from McMillan if it's that type of stock...

Well my wife told me it looked like dog [censored] so I had to break out the files. Wish me luck, or at least for her to go back in the house!

I think my work today is done. All the tools needed. Probably in excess. All you really need is a socket and sand paper but I had to build it with math instead of a built action.

It's a chassis...shoot it first and see how it shoots before you bed it. I bet you don't have to bed it. If you had plans to bed it you could've saved some weight ordering without a chassis. Looks good.

Well she was right, I am now smoother than the factory finish. Still looks like a dog's [censored]. You don't have a straight ruler laying around?
