Considering purchasing a new Colt Python 4.25" Revolver. Any thoughts, recommendations, or experiences on the new model? Best place to buy, etc? Thanks

YES !!!
Great Gun
Youtube showing the newer production are much better qc.
are you looking to buy from a store or online?
if in person, take a bore light and check the bore at the muzzle. Some Pythons have some "metal chatter" there. Didn't hurt performance but could be better.
also go to the Colt Forum, there are about a million posts on the new pythons. go ahead and order the new replacement rear sight. it's the weakest part of the gun.
Gun is a shooter. As good or better than an original.

I have purchased from grabagun twice now and been happy both times. Pick up locally in Coppell or shipped to your FFL

I’ve got the 6” version and it’s really nice. I’ll get the Wilson Combat rear sight for it at some point. There’s a guy on eBay that makes reproduction wood grips for various years of the Python and they feel a lot better than the stock ones.

Found one, thanks for all the replies. Weatherford must be special because the few I found were as much as $200 more than other stocking stores. Saved a bunch with just little over an hour travel outside the Weatherplex.....

I have one. About like all the rest of the guns in my safe that I have just had to have bur rarely shoot.
