I apologize in advance for long post. If you can cook with frozen pie dough or frozen hash browns, how about frozen biscuits (without thawing)? I think I see a kitchen challenge here this morning!!! Will throw in a picture with recipe steps. Springform pan (to make removal easy) Parchment paper Frozen Pillsbury Grand biscuits Jimmy Dean sausage (either fresh, or pre-cooked) Cheddar cheese Optional - Peppers, onions, mushrooms, jalepenos Salt and Pepper to taste Preheat oven to 375 degrees Parchment paper on bottom of pan, spray the sides Lay in frozen biscuits to fill pan Layer in sausage on top Cover with grated cheddar, or any mixed cheeses Mix 1/2 cup heavy cream and 5 eggs Cover completely with egg mixture Bake 45 - 50 minutes, until set in the center Remove from oven and let cool for 10 min Serve with hot sauces, salsa, sour cream, or white country gravy
Beer and whiskey, 'cause you can't drink bacon!!

Wow that looks good but I think it needs a layer of hash browns also! Thanks for sharing

Sure looks intruiging. Did you just come up with this out of thin air? If so, congratulations! I can see doing it with the suggested hash browns, but weaving in a layer of roasted and peel Hatch green chiles ...

Yeah, I do it a lot with hash browns and I've seen it done in a casserole dish with thawed biscuits torn into pieces, or even thawed out, and then pressed together to make a dough base. Wondered about the frozen ones, and then just cooking double the time. Worked pretty good, and they rose right up thru the toppings. I think next time I will use sausage gravy on top of the biscuits, then the cheese and egg. Save half the sausage gravy to drown it over the top when done!!

I make something similar to that, and it's always delicious, but I think I'm going to give your version a try! Looks great, and thanks for sharing!

I've always used it, and I believe it makes the mixture a little bit fluffier, besides I had one open. If you left it out, probably have to add a couple more eggs to get enough liquids
