They are a rip off! Try Grundy or America Collector.

What are you trying to insure? 85 El Camino. Running into some issues with the horsepower and the replacement value. Progressive has me at $25k max value.

I pay around $500 total for a year for a 1967 Camaro and a 1958 Ford F100. If you want to insure something for more than it is worth it is going to cost, you.

I have had both American Modern for an 1962 MGA, and currently Hagerty for my 1957 Austin Healy 100. They run me around $250 per year. Never any complaints, and usually, your regular agent can write a Hagerty policy.

My old Jeep is $250 a year with Hagerty. Granted, it isn’t worth much.

It asked how many miles I was gonna drive it, it suggested 2500 miles/yr. I think more than that so I entered 4000 miles and it asked about the HP, the others didnt.

I used American Collectors for a Nissan Skyline, it was very reasonable and they helped me with one claim.

Hagerty $330 a year $0 ded comp/collision. low mileage stored in a garage/shop/secured storage under 3-5k miles a year (maintenance and car shows) Guaranteed value $25,000 (should probably bump it up with todays crazy classic auto prices)
Also, check out Grundy if you haven’t already.

Grundy all the way! Paid under $400 a year for an agreed replacement value of $96k on my 1969 Camaro driving it up to 2500 miles per year. (This was 3 years ago)

American Collector needs pictures of the car to bind the policy.
So gotta wait another month before its all in one piece.
