I’m looking for recommendations for a lever action gunsmith. I have a 71 that I would like to rebarrel and rechamber. Thank you in advance.

Robert Schuck resurrected this old Winchester 1892 for me. The project involved rebarreling, rechambering, installing a new magazine tube and restocking. The CCH work was farmed out to Doug Turnbull.

Buzz, Judd...many thanks!

As I was doing some work with another .25-20 today, I pulled the old gal out and put her through her paces...and discovered that she has an affinity for 85 grain cast loads.

This is getting better and better!

At one time the owner of Liveoak accuracy in Wylie would do that kind of work, do not know if he still is taking those or not.
