Is your dad still around? I’d like to meet him.

Sadly no. He got an extremely rare type of liver cancer in 2009 that killed him in a few months. I got a letter a couple of years ago from the DOD that said everyone diagnosed with it had served in Vietnam and that they added him to the wall in Washington.

It’s deep down in the abyss.

Guys have had some clever tricks so far.

Was using a snake bite kit for the suction and I’m confident if it was near the surface, it would’ve come out.

Very good idea whoever that was.

Lol! Man y’all are a tough crowd, the title of the thread was meant to be overly dramatic, trying to be humorous.

Don’t mind a good ribbing though.

Dusty, you should have taken that pic with the splinter closer to the camera so it would look bigger. Do it right like the 3' rattle snake that looks 10' or the 3-pound bass that gets passed off as 15. I did enjoy the thread.

My Grand Daddy said something close, “ I’ve had worse cuts on the head of my d!ck, toughen up boy. “

I don’t know if the mesquite or the locust is worse but I hate em both.

Why in heavens name were you dragging your junk over thorn bushes to start with? And thanks for not having photo proof! Tougher man than I will ever be for going through that and admitting it too!

Brayden (Lazy L's Southern Comfort) you will be missed! You were more than a pet you were my reason to rise and return for many days! You were my rock!

Locust is worse.

At least a mesquite tree makes terrific lumber and terrific cooking wood. Locust trees are the plant version of the feral hog.
