Ballistically its very similar to a .30-30. For use in states like Ohio that only allow for straight wall centerfire cartridges to be used during firearms season
For it is not the quarry that we truly seek, but the adventure.

Bought my daughter a Ruger American because her frame is so small. The rifle itself shoots lights out. I can have a 3 shot group all touching with a mid-grade scope. She dropped her first deer in its tracks with the 160 grain powermax bullet. Shot wasn't far but being new I don't want her shooting more than 100 yards out right now anyways. Very little recoil and just a fun round. I enjoy shooting it as well. No complaints so far though.

I have both an AR and the Ruger American. Both shoot really well. I used the Ruger this season and took 3 doe. 180gr ammo does a great job with little to no recoil.

The 350 legend is a great caliber for short range hunting 2 hundred yards are less. Even at 200 yards there’s quite a drop from 100. Getting it in a ar15 rifle is 1 great factor. Smith and Wesson also makes a pistol for the legend . I guess it all comes down to how your going to use it. In the ar15 platform I like the 6.5 Grendel. At 100 yards the legend carries more energy .
