 They are finally installing fiber on our road. If it follows the pattern in other areas around us, we should be 60 - 90 days from Gigabit internet.
We all need to practice Whoa more.

Good stuff! We have AT&T fiber, 4 kids, all with TV’s, phones, laptops, etc…and it is gold. Upload & Download speed is incredible.

That is awesome. I can't get fiber here in the middle of town, they skipped us.

Good stuff! We have AT&T fiber, 4 kids, all with TV’s, phones, laptops, etc…and it is gold. Upload & Download speed is incredible. We have 1 gig service. Sweet.

Yeah, we got it 6, months ago or so. The government is serious about subsidizing the cost to get fiber optic Internet throughout rural areas.

You’ll love it. We went from paying 180.00 a month for 25 mps with Viasat to 980 MPs up and 975 download speed with Frontier for 74.00 a month.

We got fiber optics installed in my neighborhood and all over town over a year ago. Nobody is using it yet. Don't even know what company it belongs to. We still have DSL at 10 mps. It's either that or Next Link and I don't want an antenna on my metal roof.

We don't have it here in Joshua. Wish we could get it! They have been installing it around campus for months... I'm surprised one of the workers hasn't been killed. They don't pay attention and just walk into the road. It's 30 mph, no shoulder, tight lanes and we have a lot of kid drivers around there. Wish they'd finish up already.

We do not have a DSL option here. Its been Nextling or the other two fixed wireless providers.
I want it just to get rid of the Nextlink lightning rod on my roof. It takes 20', because of the trees across the road.
We had 1 GIG when fiber when we moved here a couple of years ago. 50 Meg with Nextlink has been barely workable with two of us doing the home office bit. There are days I have to use the Verizon hotspot.

I left three message, email, and had a frontier service guy put in a ticket. Yard guys finally got it with mower. Buried a new line three days later and tore the #%^ out of my yard. Elon showed up this week. Frontier is getting fired
