Split ear had a soft spot in my heart. He was about 155” as a ten at 5 years. At 6 we had a bad drought and was in the low 40’s. He bounce back the next year and almost ate exclusively at the house feeder. Watched him for several more years and just couldn’t bring myself to kill him. :-)

Cull I shot a couple of years ago I called "Mr. Limpy." He was healed up, but had a noticeable limp. He was always quick moving and was obviously always only thinking about one thing - mounting any and all does. He was a force to be reckoned with. Left side was a single big tine that came around like a scythe.

I had a helluva 2.5 year old 3 point, he just never got a name this year

He became that 2.5 year old 3 point, ill come up w 1 next year if he shows, 11''-12'' beam turd

Had a couple young spikes my neighbor named "mutt and Jeff", very fitting for those two knuckleheads.

Protein hound: only shows up if Protein feeder is full, once it runs out will not see him until i get back to fill it up and he will show up that evening lol

I have named them for a long time due to problems when saying the "Big X pt" over at such and such blind(s). To many names to list them all here but.... Limping Louie, Sheriff, The 13pt Typical, Cowtown, Massive Double Drop, Pretty Boy, Arnold Palmer, George Jones, George Strait, Travis Tritt, Brow King, Elvis, Lefty, The "xxxxx" Buck...hunters names given to buck when hunters passed them....Micheline Man, Mule Deer Fork, Super Duty, Wide Load, Wide and Heavy, Long Beam 11 pt., High Porky, HH 6x6, Blade Brow 6x6, Mystery Buck, Roamer 11, Tomahawk I, Tomahawk II, Double Drop 8pt, etc.

Sitting in a blind one morning I had 5 bucks around the feeder at one time. I started to name them. The only one I remember was Cyclops. He had a swollen closed eye from a fight. We had one we named Mr. Penis for a obvious reason and Thickneck. Another buck I named Bruiser because he had a body like a steer. He came out of a cedar thicket 5 or 6 times to check out activity at the feeder. I saved him for my son to shoot but we never saw him again.
