Made my trip worth it 100%. Wife, who previously lived there for a couple years, took the kids there last week for the kids' first visit to the island, and toured the Arizona and Missouri too.

If you have time go to PunchBowl Cemetery, well worth the trip

My late Grandfather was there during the attack. I talked to him about it when I was younger. He would only talk about it a little bit due to getting emotional. He would pull out a photo album and show me pictures that he had shortly after the attack. He also had a pic of the little 2 man Japanese sub that had been shot and captured. I believe that my mother has all of these pics now since grandfather and grandmother have both passed. I need to get with her and see if I can get these pictures.

When I visited, the Moving Wall was set up outside. We also went to the Battleship Missouri Memorial and PunchBowl Cemetery, all were very moving.

My wife’s Dad was in the Seabees. He was sent to Pearl Harbor to assist in cutting holes in ships for removal of bodies.

Never been to Hawaii, if we ever do go that will be an absolute go to right off the bat.
