Here it is Christmas season again. And as always, I have zero idea what to get the wife. I just need small to medium stuff, since we are buying some bigger things for ‘us’ already. What do I get for the wife that has everything? Seriously. Give me ideas, no matter how weird or stupid it might sound. Just some nice personal stuff. She has watches, jewelry, purses, perfume, etc.

Man, I am right there with you.
The last few years have been tough. I've got nothing

I'm right there with you. I miss the days of Sunday newspaper adds. Many times they would spark an idea or two.

If she's a coffee drinker get her a 5 pound bag of Black Rifle Coffee "Just Black".

Does she have any favorite performers/artists coming to town… Maybe a nice dinner and a show? Or maybe a massage at a nice spa?

I pretty much go with a gift card for a pedicure and a couple of funny T-shirts.

Me and wife buy a simple, small gift for one another at Christmas. I usually buy her perfume.

Since we were first together we don’t gift each other birthdays, anniversaries, Christmas, valentines, etc. we simply get what we like through the year. Birthdays and Christmas is for the kids….. Valentine’s is for retailers and florist…. 2cents

Edit: our “real” gifts to each other are our vacations and road trips…..rather spend the money on time together seeing this beautiful country than waste it on “gifts” the spouse most likely doesn’t need, want, or use. If it fits that definition then just buy it anyway….

The massage was a good suggestion. That’ll work. And maybe a manicure/Pedicure, if I can find a fancy place in Waco.

She already has a 380 EZ, which she says she doesn’t like, but when I went to sell or trade it, she said NO.

Household 6 and I have an agreement: NO GIFTS. Both of us cannot tell you how much better life is without the added stress and cost of all the holiday/birthday gift-giving crap. We each have blow money accounts and if we want something, we simply save up for it and go buy it.

Now, we just focus on the kids. Highly recommended. yingyang

IIRC you have grandkids....Kendra Scott has some cool jewelry designs for ladies that can incorporate birthstones for the kids or grandkids. Women always seem to like those sorts of things.

Dyson hair dryer. That is the one gift that my wife actually went nuts over. When she told a few friends it was like I gave her a Porsche or something.

We just bought a house, so we agree, no gifts. She busts her butt for all the grandkids, packing, shipping. 'Best Grammy ever.

The greatest gift I could, and should give her is keeping my mouth shut about her mother. Her mother makes that virtually impossible. We are entering a very tough time with one of the rudest, most self-absorbed people I've ever met. And now it looks like dementia is starting. But I digress.
