I saw him pitch many times when he was with Cleveland...RIP
I am still looking for the perfect apron, one with reinforced knee areas would be perfect.

Didn’t he throw a spit ball or a grease ball? Did he get caught with some foreign substance on the bill of his cap?

Gaylord was pure greatness. Could have pitched into his 60's if he wanted. RIP.

Didn’t he throw a spit ball or a grease ball? Did he get caught with some foreign substance on the bill of his cap? He was famous and well known for throwing "spitball" pitches. Yes, he was caught several times during his career.
