F around and they’re gonna find out. Qatar doesn't "officially" execute quantities like Saudi Arabia. It's not nearly as common. The person might get flogged, jailed and deported. I can see the person getting flogged.

Grew up playing in the Olympic Development Program for US soccer, played D1 college ball up in Boston, coached, and still play (immediately loses cred with half the THF, I know) and normally I don't watch a lot of soccer games, but the WC is entirely different. The US team looks like it could be a serious contender. Young scrappy team with good talent. They have no chance and if they even qualify for the World Cup they’ll get knocked out in the group stage. That didn’t age well.

USA! USA! USA!  Nice win... but Pulisic had better heal quickly if we're to have a chance against Netherlands. This team plays great D, but you can't win the game if you can't put the biscuit in the basket.

I watched most of the game today. Attacking in the first half, completely defensive in the 2nd half. Only 2 goals in 3 games, but it was a weak group, so good to advance. There are at least 17 individuals from other countries that have scored at least 2 goals so far. It's hard to watch at times, but I understand that's part of the strategy.

Last Friday’s USA-England match pulled in 15.3m+ viewers, ~3m more than Game 6 of last year’s NBA finals.

If it is any consolation, my soccer skills did land me a job playing Semi Pro football as a kicker for the Charlestown Townies (that town was rough!), just outside of Boston. Still hold a record for the Eastern Football League - the most consecutive extra points made in a game, at 7. So, maybe that gives me back some cred?? Maybe? LOL
