A case of not having the right ‘ammo’…..look up guillotine arrows, plenty of YouTube vids.

I have to hope they did something to those snakes before he saddled up next to them with their heads still on....They sure looked dead at that point, but I would not be that close to those snakes like that.
My guess is that was a mating ritual, I have seen vids of snakes mate like that before, but not 100% sure if rattlers do that.
