Just saw an article and picture of a couple of guys with a dead male wolf. The year was 1974 and the location was Botany Bay Plantation in Tensas Parish, Louisiana, the parish where my family was and is and where I grew up. The article said that a female had been killed on the same plantation a few weeks prior. I’d post the picture, but the quality was very poor and probably a copy of a copy of a copy. Tensas Parish is about 200 miles east of the Texas border.

The original article had been in the parish paper, the Tensas Gazette.

I thought you’d find the info interesting, particularly since the last wolf sighting in Texas (per some sources) was in 1974.

They're been sightings since 1974 in Texas, I know someone who thinks they saw one in the 80's.
