I think I know the answer to my question already, but I will leave this to the more experienced.

This is my first year to hunt, I went to BPS and requested the Super Combo and asked if the APH was included which she replied "Yes". But I do not see a APH endorsement on the license...I am assuming that I do not have the APH? When I go back to get it, do I get a whole new license or do I have to tote the APH license and original together?

No the APH does not come with a supercombo. It cost $48 last year and the same this year, I think (havent got mine yet) and allows you to hunt Type 2 public lands and Corps of Engineer lands.

When you do pay for it, they will give you another license sized/like paper with the APH annotated on it to keep with your other license that you purchased the first time around.

The APH allows you to hunt state type 2 land, corps property is different it is federal land, free permit required most property, some no permit, some draw for permit. There is a lot of public hunting opportunity, if you do the work you may be pleasantly surprised. The super combo also doesn't come w/ the federal duck stamp if you hunt duck, runs about $7 i think. Corps property also requires hunter safety course if born after 1971.Also most public land is archery only for deer,& hogs, shotgun w/ shot restriction for other game.

I wouldn't waste my money on the APH unless you're using a bow. There are only two or three places in the state where you can use a rifle on public land.

Grab ahold of something, bite your lip, and GIVE IT HELL!!!!!
