Always enjoy visiting Colorado Springs. If you enjoy German food and have not been there you need to try Edelweiss German Restaurant. Also for for some indoor educational fun you might visit the Rocky Mountain Dinosaur Resource Center.

For sure. The piano sing along is fun and everyone is singing the classics as loud as they can. And you can get a yard of beer which is ridiculous, but kinda awesome.

Idk what a yard of beer is, but tell me more lol.

Since our steak house at the lodge was booked for Thanksgiving we’ve called around and the was one of the places we called. Literally everywhere is booked so not sure what we’re doing for that lol.

Oh, and Uwe's is the best traditional German food in town. Blows edelweiss away. My grandparents on mom's side are German emigrants and I grew up eating amazing homemade German food. Uwes comes close to the real deal. Don't get BBQ here. It's all trash compared to TX😂

Used to be a place down on Greenville that served yards. The Londoner Pub maybe? Had a red phone booth in there. I’ve lost too many brain cells to remember cheers

Now that’s what I’m talking about! If time permits I’ll definitely go grab one, only problem is my wife isn’t allowed to drive my truck so I’m full time DD. Don’t ask she is a terrible driver lol.

I think I could do it in 2 chugs, if I do it, I’ll video it rofl

Look up Starr Kempfs and drive by the house. Craziest metal sculptures you’ll ever see.

It's the greatest invention ever. Those Germans can't win a world war but they do know their beer.

Great pics, Kyle. Have fun and stay out of the ghey bars.

Had a pretty decent day in Denver today. Did the City Pass and did the Aquarium, Kids Museum, and the Museum of Nature and Science.

Aquarium was pretty good, Colt loves aquariums. The Kids Museum was an absolute madhouse with kids of all ages running wild, couldn’t leave that place fast enough. Had a pretty good lunch with a few beers. The manager came over and chatted with us and asked us where we were from. He said Denver was nice and really middle of the road and moderately common sense as to where we’re at politics wise. I was thinking you must be smoking too much Denver weed if you think this is middle of the road politically. He then told us he was from California so yea maybe Denver does seem middle of the road compared to Cali.

We then went to the Nature and Science Museum, it was pretty dang nice. Have a lot of great space and nature stuff and even an Egypt exhibit which I’m a sucker for, but boy was I ready to go.

Saw some stuff today that made me shake my head and some that just flat pissed me off.

First up was a lady with 2 kids a little older than Colt. All 3 were masked up and gave us side eyes if we got a little close to her and her kids while looking at the exhibits. Wanted to tell her if you’re that scared to breathe air she should have kept her [censored] at home.

Second was 2 13-15 year olds, one of which was a tranny (male) and the other was a girl, but they were holding hands and hugging all over each other. So I’m guessing the girl is gay and the boy is a tranny being a girl to hook up with the gay girl? bang can’t keep up with this [censored] anymore.

Third and this one pissed me off, little boy about 2-3 years old could barely walk that well wearing a damn dress. I heard one of the museum workers comment how cute it was… To me that is child abuse end of story. If they keep it up that kid is going to be messed up for life.

I really enjoy COS but I’d be fine never stepping foot back in Denver.

Yeah that’s a mess, Kyle. The good thing is we still get to raise our kids the way we think is best… for now anyway. Try and overlook it as best you can, focus on the mountains, and enjoying the time with your family. The aquarium looks cool and little dude looks like he’s having fun!
