He’s already been terminated, as he should be. You know you really [censored] up when the chief comes in on a Saturday to terminate you.
This is why I don’t drink in public, or around other cops, and don’t mess with another man’s girl. Pretty simple to me. Yep. Go home (to your own home) at the end of the day and don't do stupid things in public. I have two "social" friends in law enforcement but otherwise I stay away from the police crowd. I just don't feel bad when first responders screw up and lose their jobs.

Not in public service, but the job I had when I retired required a yearly drug test because of DOT rules, while the rest of the plant was just random testing. We got the mandatory DOT one and then usually 3 to 4 of the "random" ones each year. Everyone that was involved with the pipelines outside of company property was watched closely for some reason.
