Yep. Go home (to your own home) at the end of the day and don't do stupid things in public. I have two "social" friends in law enforcement but otherwise I stay away from the police crowd. I just don't feel bad when first responders screw up and lose their jobs.

Not in public service, but the job I had when I retired required a yearly drug test because of DOT rules, while the rest of the plant was just random testing. We got the mandatory DOT one and then usually 3 to 4 of the "random" ones each year. Everyone that was involved with the pipelines outside of company property was watched closely for some reason.
