Anyone have any experience with this Performance Center model? It’s interesting to say the least and I’m kicking the idea around. It’s vastly different than a standard 686 (I have a few) but the look, design, and option to adjust barrel weight is intriguing. I watched a few YouTube vids and it seems to shoot very well. Always interested in feedback from the THF crowd. Link to the SW website attached. https://www.smith-wesson.com/firearms/performance-center-model-686-competitor-6-weighted-barrel

The two 6” models I have shoot very well. One being the adjustable front sight model famous for the silhouette shooters back in the day. I suspect this heavier model, front loaded, really steadies the aim. And reduces recoil. I’m not a bad shot with a revolver nor do I have “the shakes’ like the Waco Kid in Blazing Saddles. You either get that or you don’t. Either way a red dot on one of these should get you well past 50 yds. That’s fun right there.
Research continues……

I would have bought one years ago if it weren't for the Hillary Hole in the side.
