Opening weekend it was my Winchester Model 70 Featherweight chambered in 25-06. This weekend it will be my Savage Model 110 chambered in 6.5 CM. And like last weekend, I'll have my Marlin 336W 30-30 should I decide to hunt a ladder stand that's back in the woods near a heavily used trail. There will also be more layers of clothing and even my Little Buddy heater just in case it's needed. You can thank me later for reminding you not to forget your own.
I wonder how many flocks of geese I'll hear riding those strong northerly winds on Saturday morning.

I decided to carry my 6.5cm this season instead of my namesake 270 Sendero. I will break out the Sendero at some point though

Unfortunately not hunting this weekend but next I will toss a coin to decide weather it’s the 7STW or the 220 swift both are sendero’s , my boy will be sporting his Winchester super grade fiddle back maple 270 = things are gonna die
