I was flying back to Texas from Chicago once. He was in line at the ticket counter in front of me. Pretty shy in person.

1979 went into grocery store to buy beer before the Gallagher show on campus in Denton. Gallagher himself was in produce section. They only had watermelon quarters. Told him we had tape in car. Went out into parking lot and taped up his watermelon. Fun show.
