Anybody have any experience with these? I only have one buddy who got a pretty nice lookin 4 wheeler from them before last season and said it’s treated him well so far. They’ve got great options on the 6 seater SxS. Reviews all seem pretty good for the price

If it’s China made steer clear of it. They’re all POS’s

I will preface this with the fact that I did not pay for the one I have as it was given to me as a gift.(wife bought it while I was at work) With that said, it performs well and has plenty of power. Had had a few instances where its tough to get in gear but nothing that I would consider a huge deal. Mine is a 2 seater Uforce 1000. Comes with adjustable shocks front and rear 2" receiver hitches, 3500# winch, front lockers and a few other things. Overall it does perform well for the price. I can be pretty hard on toys and I have yet to break this one, Several buddies of mine that have Rangers and Mules have had some good things to say when they have been on it or used it. Would I buy one, probably but as far as long term use, time will tell how it turns out. I will say, like buying a tractor, the dealer makes a big difference as well.

I said the same but I followed an older gentleman up the mountain in a Z series. It worked and his machine was not near as capable but it did it. It worked perfectly for what he used it for and mine was eating itself but be kept up just fine.

The Ranger is made in the US and everybody I know that owns one has bitched about the amount of times it’s had to go to the shop within 1 year. A good buddy on my lease missed several hunts last year from it breaking down and was only 4 months old. He just texted me this weekend that it broke down….so even American made stuff can be [censored]

The only SxS I’m looking at is the Mule but really investigating these CFMoto’s. They don’t seem to have any additional issues compared to the units twice their price

I know many people who have never had an issue with a ranger or mule etc. sometimes I wonder what all these folks do to them and just blame the manufacturer for building crud.

I’d consider the aftermarket support for them before buying compared to the major brands

I was just about to post the exact same thing about Rangers. I own one and I only use it at our place in CO, but only a max of 15 times per year. They've always got something wrong with them and all the OEM parts wear out fast. In fact, mine is in the shop right now getting $1500 worth of repairs (4 new ball joints, U-Joints and HD carrier bearing, rear spindle bushings and pivot shafts, and front upper bushings and pivot shafts).

If I had more time, I'd probably turn to YouTube and learn how to fix some of the stuff myself. But when I go to my ranch, I'm not interested in spending my whole trip jacking w/ a UTV.

Go get you one then. I had a 4 wheeler made in China. It was nice at first, first deer season, then issues all the time overheating, hard to start, etc.

Granted, it wasn’t a CF Moto, but it was a China POS

My best friend is a farmer/rancher in SW Kansas. He has had them all. When I was looking for one, he told me to get a CF Moto. Had mine for a few years now and other than the starter switch going out, it has been perfect. For the price, it is hard to beat.

The Base price for a Polaris Ranger 1000xp is $20k. CF Moto Uforce 1000 is $12,400. Drive them both and compare for yourself. I did and was impressed. Same dealer supported both brands warranty repairs and extended warranties. Good luck finding either in stock without massively inflated dealer pricing. I remember when Hondas were considered cheap imports.

I have a 2016 Honda Pioneer 1000-3 I purchased new. We drive it on the place and a few hunting trips per year. Get it serviced annually no issues and never a breakdown. Tires and 2 batteries and that's it.
Guess I'm lucky.

I bleed Honda red but when the wife wanted her own SxS I made her test drive them all. She couldn’t fit or safely drive most because they lacked an adjustable driver seat. The ones that had them were all premium priced models. For her tooling around our home trails and gravel roads I got her a CF Moto U1000 last week. I checked into reviews, parts availability, Etc. No better or worse than most others out there. It’d have to break down a lot to match some other domestic brands I’ve seen, but we’ll see how it holds up and I’ll report back.

There’s a reason you see 95% Polaris in Colorado mountains, New Mexico, etc. and that is all you see in rental places? Some Can Am; never odd brands. I last rented a General and it never faltered.

Cf one of the higher end China stuff.. they are everywhere and parts should be about the same as the other major manufacturers. , they not like the flee market China machines that last a year and can’t ever get parts for.. For what it’s worth on the China thing, not much is built in the us anymore, can am is Mexico, idk about po po, Heck my dually was built in Mexico..
