I had a great friend who got several thousand dollars in a divorce settlement. First thing she did was go get implants. She was a beautiful woman before implants. She was always sick afterwards. Cancer took her 12 years later. Age 47. I can only wonder if there was a connection.

Read here about the Allergan BIOCELL breast implants, that they can cause cancer. And there are many lawsuits filed already.

I'm with your. Fake ones are just that, fake. My wife doesn't have giant ones and has even said as a woman she wishes they were a little bigger. I asked her if she ever even considered implants and she said absolutely not. She said the only way she would get them is if she had to have them removed for health reasons.

A little humor, and true. Many years ago we lived in NW Houston, in a small nice subdivision with mostly young people about our age. A neighbor lady, a good looking and shapely one, got a boob job. She then spent a lot of time walking around the neighborhood, always in an outfit that was topped by a very tight T-shirt. Showing em off. My wife said that it was shameful, but then when she got her own upgrades, she wore tight T-shirts and we had to walk that same neighborhood. I pointed that out to her and she dismissed that as silly and not true. Baloney…

There was a time, when I worked in oil trading, that I spent a lot of time in Houston’s top ranked gentlemen’s clubs (business entertainment, truly). I observed a bazillion shapely dancers’ chests, some natural and some enhanced. Sometimes I could see a difference between enhanced and ‘natural’, but I had to look close, which was not unenjoyable. An interesting bit of data is that many of the ‘naturals’ referred to themselves as ‘naturals’, as if it made their boobs more realistic. Well, maybe so, but they pretty much all looked good to me. And I was on expense account, so it was free research.

My personal take on it:

I like the way fake ones look if the job is done right. Go in thru the arm pit under the muscle. Small scar that’s not really noticeable.

That said, I’ve known too many girls who have had issues with their body rejecting them. It’s a foreign object implanted in your body.

I have dissuaded my wife from getting them on multiple occasions. Imo it’s not worth the risk in her case.

One more similar story... My buddies wide had them and got sick a couple years later. She couldn't come up with anything and tried just about everything. Got them removed and within a few months made a full recovery.
FWIW, he still has one in his desk drawer.

A lady I used to work with was born in Mexico but worked in Texas. She went to Mexico have a boob job so she could save money. She had a lot of trouble with it and had to have it fixed in the US which ultimately cost her more money than the original job would have. The whole thing seems silly and vain to me.
