How is the acorn crop where you are? I’m getting some feeder traffic but not a ton. Assuming they’re still on summertime food sources and acorns where I’m at in etx.

Hardly any here but 10 miles away there’s a bunch. Spotty would be the report from here.

Sometimes it's hard being me! But somebody has to do it.

Funny thing is I saw an article on Facebook (must be true) about how the drought would cause a big acorn year....

Starting to drop but overall the crop looks poor this year.

Hadn't had any in two years. Have some this year but very small and not nearly what falls when it's a good year. Was hoping for a lot more since doesn't seem like for now there is much to eat for them. Maybe this rain will help some stuff pop up to eat

A few but most are very small. I have seen over the years they will be real small like they are at my place now, and then in a couple of weeks they will be bigger.

I looked at my oaks today and saw none. Deer are hitting the feeders.

Huge crop this year in NE Texas. Seems that the pin oaks have less crop but your post oaks and white oaks are more than ever.
