All of my favorites have been listed here for Tex-Mex and BBQ, but what is missing in my rotation is a great fried catfish place. Anybody have any thoughts? Best I have found lately is Ole Whiskers in Garland on 30, I think they have a couple of other locations as well.

I thought that the Catfish O'Harleys were all okay, which it looks like they have now all become David Beard's Catfish Kings, which I have always thought was some of the best. Truthfully, I don't think I have found anyplace that can really mess up catfish if they stick to the basics. JMO

If you are ever around Possum Kingdom Lake try Fox Hollow on the N/W side. They have catfish to die for. I have eaten catfish from New Mexico to North Carolina and have never had any better and that includes several places in Louisiana. Johnny

Yeah, they are all pretty good as long as the fish is thick enough.
How about that place in OK just north of Texoma off of the 377 bridge? Only place I know of with a wait at 5 o'clock. Most popular place in OK I think!

TxDuckMan: I can't remember the name either but it is supposed to ge V/G. Hucks Catfish on US 75 @ Loy Lake rd north in Denison is very good as is Arlene's Catfish in Denison. She used to be on the lake @ Platter Flats years ago. Windy's Catfish across the Lake Texoma Dam I was told is good too.
