They quit selling them for a reason. And it wasn't because a lack of sales.

OMG these responses are well, as expected..

Nice you are going to enjoy it. I LOVE and still have an 83' 185s and an 84' 110 and they are great little machines, light, strong, reliable, easy to fix, pulled many animals out of the woods w them for quite a few years.
We let the kids and lots of people ride them around and everyone's still alive w no issues/injuries at all, they're not stupid...

The thing I liked about when I would hunt by myself is I can load it myself in a pickup, if I kill something go retrieve it, if not no Bigge.

Reality is most people should never be on/in or even around anything with less than 4 wheels. The throttle position is always ALL you.
It's going to be a OK Oldtimers. Lemme go find some pics

My ex wife's uncle had one, flipped it and crushed his skull on a rock. Almost died, steel plates in his head. He ended up with a huge settlement and was able to buy a house and into a 3,000 acre ranch in Victoria County with lot's of game.

We had one on the old ranch, I flipped it over backwards on me hauling a small trailer loaded with pigs. That was fun.

I'm pretty excited about it and I'm eager to get it out riding soon. I'll be on the lookout for one of their metal cargo racks if I can get my hands on one for a decent price. For you guys who used them out at the ranch did you fill the tires with some type of sealant to protect from going flat? I've used a product called Multi-Seal on the tires of our zero turn and it works great. Much better than the green slime.

If I still had a 3 Wheeler, I’d drive it. I liked mine. Worked good for deer hauling too, up to a point. I used to pull them up the fender to get them on the back of the rack. Can’t do that with a 4 Wheeler. And, you can’t do it with a 200+ pound deer.

I used slime in the tires. The owner before me had plugged the tires a bunch. Plugs all over the tires. And he had used Slime.

My Dad had a Honda 90 3 Wheeler for years. If anyone could kill a Honda, he’d have been the guy, but it would not die. Amazing.

I had the same one new in 83 and I'm pretty sure the one john has now was mine for about 5 or 6 years. I rode 3 wheelers my whole life and used them on deer leases all over Texas and never been hurt on one. Don't be stupid and they can be a great tool. Blaming the 3 wheeler for getting injured while you are doing something crazy or because you are inexperienced, is silly.

A person doesn't have to be driving like an idiot or too fast to get hurt on one. They are unstable and can roll over to one side just by being on uneven ground. 4 Wheelers are more stable. This is basic physics.

just me- i never had a problem with the 3 wheeled atvs i had.
you just have to know how to ride one safely.
the 4 wheeled atvs translate from cars more easily for the
average person so i guess that's why more people like them.
i've seen a whole lot more people hurt on 4 wheelers than
when there were a lot of 3 wheelers around. there's a whole
lot of people dressed out riding 4 wheelers as if they were
sitting around the pool. shorts, no shirt, no gloves, no helmet,
no eye protection, flip flops and no boots, etc. etc.
lots riding motorcycles on the highways similarly outfitted.

oh well. . . . can't tell somebody else what to do.
people are responsible for their own a$$es

Got a 110 when I was 9 years old. Also have had a 125 and a 200E Big Red. I flipped the 125 when being stupid in a creek. Never came close to turning one over when riding them as they are intended to be ridden. They are plenty safe. Stupid people doing stupid things got them outlawed.

yeah
people riding without helmets and other protective gear get hurt the worst.
they still do every day on 4 wheelers and dirt bikes and street bikes.
many are inexperienced and try to ride exceeding their skills

oh well. . . .

I've done a lot of stupid stuff on 2 wheels when I use to ride. Also done stupid stuff on fast ATV's and actually fractured a couple of ribs. I was younger and a little more wise these days. This Honda will be for just puttering around the neighborhood and ranch. I definitely don't want to be flying off it or getting hurt by doing things I shouldn't be doing with it.

Thats for sure. What makes big atvs more dangerous than some may realize is that they Are very stable and Fast, also Super heavy and riders have a very neutral riding posture. That false sense of confidence can bite you when things go bad.

I have had most all of the machines and gotta say 2 stroke motocross bikes have the highest learning curve/ potential for injury than Any if you don't know how to keep it together and play nice. Only a select few are allowed to play w them.

Also I do suggest airing down your rear tires as that 185s has no suspension on the rear, its all tires and butt/seat padding.

The 3 wheelers are great for putting around etc and for basic transport and for low impact fun, keep you eye out on eb ay and you can find racks etc, I am kicking myself for not snatching them up a few years back.

Years ago I ordered a special epoxy that's made for lining the inside of old motorcycle gas tanks. Works great. I'll dig it out and share info on the source if you're interested.

We have to quit taking away this dangerous stuff and let Darwin do his work. We've been too over protective the last few decades and look what it's gotten us. Dumb people breed and make more dumb people. Then those dumb people get elected. The world was a smarter and better place when we had 3 wheelers. Let's send a truckload to DC.

Yep. Dad brought home a pair of Suzuki 125’s when I was 13. Brother and I rode them all over for years, crashed them several times. Sand, snow, street didn’t matter.

I know of three teenagers killed on them and my 65 year old mom was flipped by her dog when she was riding one to the mail an broke her collar bone
They are fun to ride but can kill you especially crazy kids

Thanks fellas for all the advice. I'm pretty excited about this 3 wheeler and can't wait to take it out for a ride as soon as I can.

Was this one yours before? I got it from firenguns. It's an 84 shaft drive. I did have another one I bought from a forum member long ago, but it came with a spun hub and soon developed other problems. It got parted out eventually. This 84 I added aftermarket stuff I had from previous ones I parted out and someone painted it so it may look different.

I'm using mine right now. Real time picture.

Sick, that is fantastic. My neighborhood buddy in Brandon Mississippi had a185 S new and we had a 110 to ride around. Back in the early eighties the kids were fearless in my neighborhood. These things were just bad-azz back in the day. I would love to find one to restore so please keep us posted.

This guy is a genius. I subscribed to his YouTube channel. He is getting a 200 ATC up and running.
