This would of been the teams last year. The 12 man playoff will help my Baylor Bears a ton knowing you will have a legit shot at the playoffs every year.

Yeah, this would make for a possible 16 game season. Thats a lot. And there will be some attrition those last couple games. They will be very physical and grueling games. Incentive to win conference and be undefeated still. But one loss doesnt kill you.

I like it, been needed and i have been clamoring for this for a while. Glad to see. I think they could have done too 6 conf champs and 2 at large tho….but i am not complaining with the changes.

8 of the 12 will have no chance, zero, nada. The semi's with the current 4 team bracket usually result in a beatdown.

Agree sort of. What i found interesting when looking at the stats on the four team playoff, the worst position to be ranked was 2. Over half the games were double digit wins. I agree the games are largely big wins, but i have suspicion the committee wasnt the best at picking teams or seeding them correctly due to the politics involved. I think an 8 team playoff was a good compromise, but i am OK with 12. I think of those 12, it will be easily a 2-4 team match. But will those come from 1-4 or a mix all the way down to 10? Will be interesting to see how this plays put with hot teams at the end of season
