The 4x that came with it was not so great, I got an old 2-7 redfield in a trade and tried it and still not so great. Rifle is CO2 and has no recoil unlike some spring rifles. Any recommendations before I spin the roulet wheel on Amazon? Fixed or LPVO is fine. Must firmly be less than 100$ thanks

** I suppose I should have mentioned primary use is urban pest control at dawn/dusk , followed up by backyard plinking. The gun shoots sub dime sized groups at 20 yards, so the dot on some red dots would be prohibitive

I have heard that you cant just out any scope on an airgun. That it needs to be an airgun specific scope. I dont really understand why, but I recall hearing that. Maybe it doesnt make a difference since yours is CO2?

I remember reading that about the big spring rifles because the recoil impulse is backwards or something like that. Supposedly tears up regular scopes

Springers recoil in two directions. Regular scopes are built just for one direction. It won’t matter on your gun. I never thought I’d own a UTG scope but I got a Bug Buster. It has been flawless on a CO2 air gun I built. Adjustable to be clear at 10 feet on 12 power if o want to. They are around a hundred bucks.

I do have a konus pro I like on a 10/22 (bought from y'all btw) , I had forgot about them. I scored a NIB Nikko sterling on here yesterday for sub 70$, going to give it a whirl and go from there.

Mo as far as I know it only applies to the big spring guns. If your talking like a 760 classic or a silver line/Benjamin I think your ok
