Neat idea. Not sure it’s any better than an AR.

It's a nice looking carbine but I have no use for 5.7. I'd like to see it in 10mm.

If you want such for lefties try the FN PS-90 but it is more expensive.

The round is about like a modern version of a 22 Hornet.

There are also AR uppers you can get for it.

Twice the price of an AR every time you pull the trigger.

I'm a lefty and I like side chargers on the left, so I thought that was a plus. I thought there was something I was missing lol

What is the "state compliant" model? Which state restricts it?

Fixed stock, 10 round mags, muzzle not threaded.

You can google what states the standard model is not allowed.

I saw that earlier today and for the life of me cant figure out why Ruger puts so much R&D into these type rifles and refuses to give us a 10mm or .45acp in a similar platform. They keep missing the mark on these...I may pick one up eventually anyway idk yet

I actually like it. Now if they'd just size it up a couple notches, LOL

Didn’t catch that. I love side chargers, just want to have it on the correct side for me

This!

I don’t particularly care for surveys, but this is one I would have been happy to participate in. 10mm gets my vote.

Seems like they could focus R&D elsewhere.

5.7X28 kills it for me. Great idea 10 years ago...maybe.

Pass the gravy.

Yeah I could see it is as a nice small game rifle for where you might encounter hogs/javelina but the price is a little steep for a rabbit gun. Maybe they'll make a cheaper version closer to the PC Carbine just in 5.7x28.

No different than AKs are for righties. You just turn the rifle slightly inside and go over the top with your non-dominate hand and charge the handle. Quick and easy.

One of the many reasons I don't own an AK

Have to agree. 10mm would have made more sense.
