Wondering if anyone is seeing any fawns? I’m in NE Taylor County and have see only one fawn this year. Heat and drought have hit us hard. Talked to a friend south of me and he’s seen the same. Doesn’t look good for the future. Sure hope the drought breaks but not looking very promising.

Been seeing two almost every day at the lease in Shackleford county. All the tanks except for one are dry but the deer look great. I feed corn and protein year-round.

I’m extremely dry in far far eastern Edwards county and surprisingly I’m seeing good numbers of fawns considering range conditions

For it is not the quarry that we truly seek, but the adventure.

Mills county, I’ve got one feeder with one fawn and another that has three showing up, on 600 acres. Seeing many, many does with nobody in tow. Drought and coyotes have hammered them this year but we have too many deer anyway.

Have seen one set of twins, and one single fawn at Concho County lease. Zero at the Sterling County place. Deer look just okay in Concho County. Sterling County they're looking pretty poor.

Fawns are just showing up the last couple weeks at the feeders. Pics don’t tell the whole story. Best i can tell at the two feeders i have working cameras at are about 5-6 fawns, about par. I would guess there are some others i am not seeing on the pics and/or at the other feeders.

I feed year round and do not do any predator control. Looking like i will need to remove about 6-7 doe this year based on the pics i am seeing, maybe more. Still lots out there.

Only saw one about 4 weeks ago and haven't seen it since. Looked healthy on camera. Nine doe on a regular basis. Jones County. Haven't seen any in Fischer.

Out of three doe families on my place in the Panhandle, I think I've seen six different fawns... a single, a set of twins, and a set of triplets.
