Daughter was out walking her dog the other day in East Austin and ran across this. Happily she and the dog survived the encounter!

Bottom right about a inch up, an inch and a quarter from right edge.

God! I hope not. There is a snake but she didn't mention anything rattling! I zoomed in on the middle of the pic.

They were perfectly safe.
Coral Snakes are not aggressive.

Been wanting to come across a Texas Coral snake for years…. Neat animals. Very hard to keep in captivity because they eat other snakes and are finicky eaters….Most zoos have eastern corals on display

Thanks all for playing. Daughter was a little worried since her dog walked right over the spot and I guess smelled it but I assured her he was fine. I have never seen one in the wild so she has one upped me!
