In Oklahoma but I lived in Nowata before, seems fitting with the current drought. We own land in Frogville as well.
Lots of weird names in Oklahoma, Slaughterville, Rubottom, Slapout, Gay, Nardin, stringtown, hooker, poteau, okay.

I’m content that there is no town name here. Just my ranch name and the County.

I’m from Rt. 2, Muleshoe. Lived about 20 something miles North of town.

I live in Telephone Tx. (well actually 7 miles away but it is our post office). And the irony is, cell phone signal does not work in Telephone, TX.

Pulltight in Coryell County. In the late 1800's and early 1900's they had a fertilizer factory there. The wagons hauling the fertilizer had to go down a really steep hill and when they did they had to pull tight on the rains to prevent a runaway. Nothing left there today except a cemetery and a couple of houses.
Silver spurs and gold tequila keep me hanging on. Pretty girls and old cantinas give me shelter from the storm.
