I have never been satisfied with plastic ammo boxes. Some have a flexible plastic hinge that won't stay open and eventually wears out, others have latches that break and they are surprisingly expensive. The past couple of years I've been using Berry's Boxes and they are great. Have real hinges and are durable, best of all they are reasonably priced at $5.99 each.

Just though I would share this with you guys.

Yeah, I'm pretty picky about my ammo boxes... I'm a big fan of going this route:

My smallest cases, mostly used for my handgun rounds, are these (I tend to color code based on caliber since there is a good variety of color selection):

And I do custom inserts for Pelican vault cases for most of my rifles:

Neither of the above options is price friendly in comparison to most ammo boxes. My freedom pills get treated like royalty LOL

When I used to use those types of boxes, I found the Dillon ones to be the best quality for price.

Pass the gravy.

I put my reloads in ziplock baggies. It saves a lot of space.

I'm pretty sure the dillon boxes are made by berry's. or at least some are. I bought some berry's 50 rd 223 boxes and a dillon 223 box, and they are identical except for the logo molded into the top.

I've also had good luck with the smart reloader yellow and black hinge top boxes and the frankford arsenal gray on black hinge boxes. flip top ammo boxes are the pits.
