Not ever one time has a Harris collapsed on me. Mine is 12 years old, and yes the mounting screw is rusty. Still works though.

I have looked at Spartan before, just for the weight savings. I won't use it doing load development, but will use it hunting.

If you want to spend some coin, look at the Neopod.

I run a magpul. It cants, but sometimes i can't get it tight enough to stay in place. It is super easy to extend the legs for adjustments if you're shooting up hill. The button to fold the legs can be a little stiff, but you can usually find em for right around $115.

I have been looking at the Javelin Bipod and hope to invest at some point. They are almost half the weight of the magpul and what's convenient is that you can just buy more attachments for each rifle and quickly swap the bipod between rifles (it's got a high power magnet from what I understand). You can even buy arca attachments for your glassing tripod if you wanted to use that in a specific situation. But I use he word invest carefully...they are pricey. Good luck.
