Their high end gun display is great. Other than that, I wasn’t impressed.

If it's possible, go during the week.

If it's going to be a family day, ALL will have a blast. tons to look at and do. The restaurant inside is good also when you need a break, and you will.

It’s a great store. Not the same as a cabelas or bass pro that is rustic and the focus is on their mounts. Don’t get me wrong, they have some nice mounts… but it’s jus a big clean store with a ton of merchandise. What I like about it is they sell the good stuff. That, and their hunting dog section just keeps going. Workers have always been real friendly as well.

No, it's a store. They exist for themselves not you. And depending on when you go it could be very busy. Even during the week.

It's busy for a reason. The indoor Ferris Wheel is fun for the kids...it's massive, btw.

its big. prices are decent. lots of stuff. i would like to have a bunch of friends go do the andretti cart track next door!

I was there yesterday. They had a good supply of ammo. Had what I needed and prices weren't bad. Sadly no .410 though. I definitely like it better than Cabela's/Basspro. Higher quality merchandise.

Prices are 5-10% less than BP/Cabela’s. The workers are 100% better than the workers at BP/Cabela’s.

If you have a good dog, bring it. They are super dog friendly.

It’s a cool place. Workers are helpful and friendly. Prices are reasonable, and they stock pretty much everything.

I don’t have pets, relaying this info to my wife. She believes it’s not as cool

If you are looking for high end hunting equipment it is the place to be. If you are looking for garbage made in China redhead brand quality bass Pro shop/ Cabala’s is the place to be

Yeah you should be excited. They have anything one could want there. I like that I can get anywhere from entry-level l/low-end to expert/high-end there. For example, if your kids are just getting into sports, you can still find lower cost stuff or if your kids are elite in sports, they have top of the line stuff.

I go there for all kinds of stuff now. Was just there today picking up son a backpack for school. Weekend before I was there for a couple spare magazines, some ammo, and a wife wanted some new tennis shoes. Weekend before that I was fondling all the 1911s to figure out what I wanted.

I'd like to see one in Houston. Sounds like they have everything!

Anyone that goes please let me know if they have Leica Pro 10x32 range finding binos in stock. If you happen to handle them and a pair of any of the 10x42 RF binos I would be curious about how much more compact and easy to handle they are.

My guess is if they expand in TX it’ll be Houston, Austin, then San Antonio in that order. I dont even go to Cabelas, Bass Pro, or Academy any more unless I have to.
