... flipping thru the new Rogers Sporting Goods sales flyer that arrived today. She's acting all bashful.

She says, "umm... umm...honey?" (batting her eyes at me) "can I order something from this?"

I say, "I guess. What?"

She says, "some decoys."

I kinda sigh, thinking she'll want some retarded ones or something and say, "which ones?"

She points to the 12 pack full body mallards with carrying bag.

Trying to act nonchalant, I say "Yeah, I guess so, but you're going to have to beg me (wink wink)!"

I've been wanting to get some too, but didn't want to ask her since I've been buying a bunch of other hunting things for us. LOL. She then flips the page and says, "Hey, here's the layout blind I want too!!"

Gotta love a wife that hunt!

Mine is hooked on designer clothes and shoes. There is no hope, ever.

She asked what I wanted for my birthday last year, so I told her I wanted her to come hunting with me.

I shot a duck overhead and it hit the bank about 2 ft. from where she was hiding. I went over a wrung its neck, she nearly fainted.

Oh well.

My wife wouldn't "even" go there at all. She's was born and raised a city girl. I got her to bass fish some with me back in my tournament fishing days, but that consisted of her sitting at the drivers console reading a book and dragging a worm behind the boat. The funny part was sometimes she'd kick my butt doing this. I guess that's why when I first read your post Lucky, I thought you were kidding. Moose I bet mine would faint too if she saw me finish one off.

Gf told me yesterday to go ahead and order the decoys if I want them. She also just started using a baitcaster and she's also on board with some AR purchases.

Yeah, my wife could care less about hunting and fishing.
It's ok with me. She "let" me buy a used War Eagle boat this year and a new Benelli, so I cannot complain one dang bit.

No bad days hunting

My wife would never go hunting. To be honest, I like the guy time I get when I go. Kind of glad she doesn't hunt.

Got mine out one time to observe last year. It was 50 degrees and she thought it was freezing. This year she has already said she will go again. But I know it's only to watch the dog. Inch by inch I'm gonna get her.

Your a lucky man!

That pattern looks like it would work great in a tree stand." or "I think I'm ready for something a little faster". She aint talkin about a sportscar here......she is lookin at new bows! Gotta love it!!!!
Now I gotta figure out how to get her the new Matthews womens bow LOL

Mine will dove hunt....heck, our first date we went dove hunting...I killed a limit and she cleaned them! Um...now that I think about it I don't know that she's cleaned a bird since then...
She did her part this year to remove the weakest link from the deer herd...

Mine is so left wing, I honestly dont know how we hooked up. She hates guns and anything to do with hunting but she hasnt left me yet for keeping them and hunting.

I tease her about taking our kids and it really gets her boiling, funny thing is Im not kidding. duel

Mine sent me three duck outfitter links last week..
I told her it would be cheaper to get a lease and send her to calling school.. bang

Not to mention she is itching to book a deer hunt with Marko...

Apparently she thinks we won the lottery

Wasn't saying that...saying it'll be a fight til the day you die...you're a brave man. Maybe this term will change her mind when it all comes to an end...
