It depends on what hull you are using. Each hull has different characteristics. Different primers and wads can even change the ballistics of a load, even using the same amount of powder and shot. Lyman shotshell reloading handbook has detailed loads for just about every shell made. I'm reloading AA's, with green dot 21.0 grain charge, Win. 209 primer, 1 1/8 oz shot and Win. WAA12F114 wad.

The WAA12F114 can be used for 1 1/8 or 1 1/4 oz shot, one less wad to buy for two different loads. Claybuster makes the wad for less money.

go to www.Hodgdon.com shotshell data it will show, them all or close enough,I use Clays/universal There burn rate is very clean stick with AA hulls or a mim 8 point ribbed hulls will crack they all will in time but the A's will serve you right. I load mostly 20 no steel. 15.5 universal AA 2 3/4 7/8/- 1oz./wad claybuster/ win. same load Ill take to the dove fields.
