I am not an expert and it's hard to tell with just one pic but it looks too small to be a Colt Navy in comparison to the case you have it in...those guns are pretty hefty...does it say Colt on it anywhere? What markings are on the gun? Serial numbers?...the wood grip certainly appears to be a rough replacement...more pics/gun marking details would help...

It’s not mine. That’s the only pic I have. Family heirloom. My understanding is it survived a fire and the grips were replaced. I’ve got the SN but a search returns 12 possibilities.
