Prior to remington coming out with the 1187, what did the 1100 sell for?

There are many grades of 1100's. Even the cheap one aren't as cheap as mid grade pump.

Your average field grade gun would sell for between 450 and 600.
The last one i bought was a 28-gauge and paid 400. used of course.
