1 HP meat grinder, plenty freezer bags/knives & help, tractor with bucket is a plus.
Head shot but don't hit the cheeks, make a good time out of it. Split the meat amongst everyone who put work in.
Make a fire & talk about it when the work is done.
Wild cows make excellent ground beef FME.
Do it yourself, it's more satisfying and cheaper.

Butchering a cow is more work than most realize. It'll draw a sweat on ya'. In addition, you either need to drop it where you plan on doing the butchering or have a machine available.
Skinner, do you put on an apron to cover your overalls?

I'll join the group and agree with most who responded.
Can a wild cow be tamed? For me, the answer is it's absolutely not worth the trouble or cost on a maybe so but probably not. Let her stay if shes not bothering you and you've got enough land to let her keep her distance, otherwise, I'd get rid her of her as soon as practical.

Shoot it and be done with it. This. She's not a pet, she's beef.

Iβd cube train her long enough to get in the pen then load in the trailer and to the sale barn we go ! If sheβs a banger and you put more cows in with her ( at least in Texas ) they can quarantine the whole herd.
If you`re running down my country, man, You`re walking on the fighting side of me. (Merle)

Is she's young, maybe. If she's got any age, crazy gonna be crazy.
Cubes should bring her in, but I wouldn't let any kids around her. Doesn't take much to make a skidish cow jump and hurt someone.
