Terrible flooding.
Amazing that it broke the record set back over 100 years ago.

As 68 said, it is all to familiar with the floods we had here 25+ years ago in the NB, Schertz, and other areas downstream from the Cibolo Creek and Gualalupe River.

My youngest son was camping somewhere towards the Jellystone North entrance when the rain hit. This is his annual well planned to the last minute 3 week road trip and Yellowstone was his turn around destination this year ....and he had just gotten his car smothered in a gysers silt that a tiny sign in the parking area ID'd as NOT Responsible for paint damage to vehicles while taking pictures .

He told his mother last nite that he had boogied PDQ to break camp when the rain hit just before the Park Rangers came thru and told everybody to scram or stay until next month or more. from the Park he went east to ? & found a room in a very crowded out of the way motel couple hours east bound for the 1st nite out of the Park , and had made Worlin? and planned to get everything dried out before he headed to Denver.

He'd already made all the planned North Bound stops from Santa Fe, & several stops in Colorado & Cheyenne, before hitting Rocky Mtn Nat'l Park on the north bound leg of the trip so I'd expect him to hit Denton County in 2-3 days on this southbound leg.
